Super Visa
Because of the large backlogs of the parents/grandparents sponsorship program, Canadian government introduced the “Supervisa” so that family members could visit and stay for long duration.
The Super Visa is a multi-entry visa that provides multiple entries for a period up to 10 years. It allows an individual to stay for up to two years at a time in Canada without the need to renew their status, while a 10-year multiple entry visa would only have a status period for each entry of six months only.

-
valid for at least 1 year from the date of entry
